Th’ Sugar High Monologue

This guy drinks the sirup from canned fruit, right, mixed with soda water, fizzy water, not from the fridge, nono: From a dusty old shelf in a supermarket and into his briefcase, where ’sits also two half liters of fizzy water’. It says so in’a here the script, and I’m a’not gonna have an all out with the script writers over that. ’Please, mr. word smiths, in at least every second scene please write in cooling facilities, so he can’a chill his cans and his soda water…’ but No! This dude is off’a everything, fags, chum, pin, dancing, fucking most likely too, but he likes his sugar. And he likes it like HE likes it, lukewarm, or piss warm from a back shelf in a country backroad pie place and market with the sun frying o’erhead.

And that, my chums, that means *I* will like it like it’s writ! I will drink the motherfucker lukewarm canned fruit sirup and lukewarm fizzy water and I will keep on drinking it, until I understand whether or not a person like that can exist, and if not, I will hang out the script jockey to dry from somewhere high, and if yes, possibly, mebby *I* will get me a new fetisch to my repertoire, yeah!

But you know what? No matter what, I am going to be really sugar HIGH for the first time in my life. And I am dreading it! There’s nobody out there who knows what this is like. Doctors have given them advice, I have been suggested precautions, they have measured the sugar in my blood and planned my diet and excersise based on that, ann’a trust them. But they have never tripped on sugar, not consciously. Because this is what this dude does. He trips on sugar.

I don’t know if people can see it in his eyes, I guess I will know how that looks in a few days, but other people will know that he’s onsomething. And it will do something to them.

His behavior will do something to them. I have to discover what that is. Mebbe I already know it. Mebbe its all but a meth or speed freakshow, but mebbe its not. And then I will find out. And I will play it in the movie. I don’t care if its a minor part. He’s a killer, for christ’s sake, and he flies on sugar in a can. That makes him a whole lotta interesting. Even in the background. Don’t you get it?! I’ an actor! I Am An Actor. And I’m done fucking up and thinking other people will cover for me.

A Sugar high…!

That guy who ate burgers, what was his name!? Do you know? Or you? Nobody knows what his name is, dudes, not without googling it. But do they know that his body was damaged from eating supersize MacDonald meals? Yes, they know that his liver fritzed from eating supersize MacDonald meals. Nobody knows his name, and his body was hurt for ever.

I will not let neither happen to me. They will know me, and I will only play the part. I am not a sacrifice for anything or anybody. I portraypeople. I portray emotions. I don’t act to die. I act to live. And to portray life. When I put on parts of a person to find the reason for the coherence between parts, and a full person accidentally rises up in-between, this is not me. This is not anybody. This is character and needs and reactions and actions.

Actions that are like the rain falling on a day deemed sunny. And you have to love it.

Or hate it.

*I* want you to love it or hate it. And feel all the little other feelings that are connected to loving and hating. And then I will yet again permit my basking in the false security of being protected all over my skin and all through my inner organs and partly into my heart and to my brain by a phantom I breathe out of my language.

I will be staying with this character and not come out of it before I absolutely have to.

And when that happens I will wann’a wrap it up, put it in a locked compartment in my mind, and go home and be with my family and not be bothered with it. Or by it. It’s all the same.

That is what I want. You don’na have to see me now do things. Strange for an actor to say. But I like my own company better. Better tha’ before. Now is so much more me!

The World’s Most Expensive Soap?

Will it ever fly?

topic: The Psychology of Voluntarily Isolated Co-Hab (on Mars)

“Hello mars-one.com, and thank you for pushing the frontier.

I am assuming you are sending human beings to Mars and not emotionally dead people or emotional fugitives leaving their pay to mother or religion. The Psychology of Voluntarily Isolated Co-Habitation is therefore vital to such a mission’s success.

Striving to locate your thoughts on the matter I can find no projections on your website for the chosen live-in-group’s success, once they reach Mars. My un-answered questions specifically deals with group and habitat-psychology, as I find this vital to the continuation of the project, not just for later family settlers to the planet, but absolutely also long-term for all of the human species:

Q1. Will normal human emotions be dealt with on a corporate level, by corporate means and with the consent of the participating Arenauts, possibly even chemically, or will you train for self-sufficiency alone in this department (also?) – ie. your group of 4 people on Mars need to deal with emotional issues, as if they are alone?

Suppressing human emotions chemically is possible, but we have no (as far as I am aware) known evidence of long-term co-habitation in isolated areas controlled by chemical means. Mars is a long way from Earth. The time lag may be noticable and compensated for, but the human isolation on Mars is without the precedented backup of known friends and allies. Humans need to be touched, emotionally and physically. Four people is too little for physical variation, and emotional touch with people on Earth, who can only be known as voices and never as physical touch, will be stressed to the max, once understanding sets in and there is really no coming back.

Q2. Trying to contain or control emotional instability in the co-hab, on scales from 1 to 100, what is your estimate of the effectiveness of

Q3. Assuming that group one and two have means to suppress or adequately deal with strong emotional behavior through mental and organizational other means, after two years of isolation from the homo sapiens collective

3.1 how do you project the behavior of group one towards group two, initially following arrival? 3.2 what will be the powerplay between the old and the new group? 3.3 which educations, apart from those needed for self-preservation, general and specific science at the core of the project and habitat-upholding, would you include as general knowledge for all and specific for some?

I assume from the FAQs and the vision of the mission that the second group two years later to the best of abilities will be composed of members of the training team from which group one was also chosen? The second group will thus have met and worked with the first, maybe even mated, loved, fought?

PS: I must commend you on the soap-like setting for the choosing of highly intelligent and qualified people for the mission. Anything to highten the level of our collectively accepted down-dumbing of merchandize and entertainment consumers. I would like to know, though, how you will avoid cultural commercial poisoning of the mission-script in the public choice of participants. All TV shows from BigBrother and on, if not before, make choosing their participants on a basis of expressivity the main ingredient for mixing an entertaining show. For a mission to succeed on Mars, be it however much sponsored by “the People” and to the people one must avail one self… the opposite must be the case. A Mars expedition consisting of 4 or 8 people cannot survive disruptive emotions forever. I DO suppose you are not just out to create the world’s most expensive TV-soap?

happy go-ahead for all, kenneth krabat”

Fanger får bøger i stedet for fængselsstraf

Politiken 27.06.2012, Kultur side 2 midt

no part

we hope you never will…

You are not one of us.

Your dialect is not an issue. You have no dialect.

The lingo, the references, the “what’s this?” of people, who share similar talents and interests, none of it is familiar to you.

You do not connect. You do not belong. Mind, heart, body even, and so called spirit, an artist in the broken sense. An uncomfortable analyst you are – rarely with a home, even among peers, the threat of annihilating analysis being too great.

You are alone. The comings and goings of people, in the distance, through clouds, or binoculars, or through the “eyes of people”, that is your material. Dense and varied and manageable from afar.

Observer. Alone.

For you own safety you claim to enjoy the lives and emotions that you invent in order to let your thoughts gain present reality in all of your sensory perception and your empathy and aestetic talent.

You do not look towards the stars of the Universe, you look but towards “an understanding of society”. Something you perceive as an undefined date of future lessening of chaos. A coming to balance of mind with MIND – an equilibrium you will never achieve, not being “ofsociety”, and not even IF SO.

You know this.

Through birth or upbringing, little talents for managing talents, or lack of undefined-gift, what ever… you are no part. You are alwaystranslating. Always being translated in return. Never being seen.

Never being.

Because you are without. One cannot be without.

We pity you. We, the society, never say. As individuals we pity you.

Your fortunate “We” is visibly meaningful to you. And so is your bravadery meaningfully visible to us. You feel you benefit from us, in your miserable isolation. We thank you for not having to be you. We are most truly grateful.

We will further benefit from you.

In our massive collective.

You suspect that sometimes.

Sometimes even as you accept our pat on your head in what ever form suits you the best.

We will gladly accept all of your gifts of vision and pass them on to our people. And.

We will protect ourselves from your humanely lesser talent. And.

We will look at our collective, non-world building selves, through your soul and sensory perception and wonder at the truth of it, hmm…?

We will shower you with accolades and the fulfillment of your immediate and long-term dreams and desires, as you come to deserve.

And when you are hurt, we will look after you as one looks after a sick egg layer.

And with due honors we will pass on your accomplishmentss in the service of mankind to the annals.

We will never let you in.

Not that we could, if we would. Why destroy the better-world beauty that you see us with and the precious beauty of our following your pain?

We cannot.

We are too many to agree.

You are the one, who has to change.

We hope you never will.

The Copyright industry – set to rule the world

Control of immaterial objects ALSO confers power – and maybe more so!

https://torrentfreak.com/how-the-copyright-industry-drives-a-big-brother-dystopia-120320/

excerpts: They are pushing for laws that introduce identifiability, even for historic records… This is data that used to be absolutely forbidden to store for privacy reasons. The copyright industry has managed to flip that from “forbidden” to “mandatory”.

They are pushing for laws that introduce liability on all levels. A family of four may be sued into oblivion by an industry cartel in a courtroom where presumption of innocence doesn’t exist (a civil proceeding)

They are pushing for laws that introduce wiretapping of entire populations – and suing for the right to do it before it becomes law. Also, they did it anyway without telling anybody.

They are pushing for laws that send people into exile, cutting off their ability to function in society, if they send the wrong things in sealed letters.

They are pushing for active censorship laws that we haven’t had in well over a century, using child pornography as a battering ram (in a way that directly causes more children to be abused, to boot).

They are pushing for laws that introduce traceability even for the pettiest crimes, which specifically includes sharing of culture (which shouldn’t be a crime in the first place). In some instances, such laws even give the copyright industry stronger rights to violate privacy than that country’s police force. (!!!)

With these concepts added together, they may finally – finally! – be able to squeeze out our freedom of speech and other fundamental rights, all in order to be able to sustain an unnecessary industry.

Before, there was an Internet; now it’s a “legitimate library”!

The book industry CAN win over the whole globe.

The English speaking Book industry centered in USA – “a coalition of the world’s largest book publishers including Cambridge University Press, Harper Collins, Elsevier and John Wiley & Sons” – has managed to shut down possibly the largest private book repository in the world with public access, containing among its 400.000 downloadable books enough copyright violation works to have a court judge warrent an order of closure.

The Publishers cheered. “It is a victory”, said  Stephen M. Smith, President and CEO of John Wiley & Sons. “This action reflects our commitment to protecting secure, safe, and legitimate use of the Internet”.

Legitimate use of the Internet! Are they crazy? Or plain stupid!?

Their BS-spin is cooking up pretense agendas – as if the internet was a road and it had been taken over by robbers stifling progress for all and the way forward was to rid the road of robbers.

It’s quite the reverse, actually! The Publishers acting on behalf of everyone become the robbers, wanting to hold back natural evolution, and the road connects everyone with everyone.

The Internet is the World, brothers and sisters. The Internet is the world speaking to itself, and the powers that be are doing their damndest to stop the World from developing.

The world is not just using the Internet,

the World is being shaped by the ability of people to communicate instantaneously, and it is happening fast.

Yes, you are afraid, and naturally so:

Everything is verging towards a massive change – what doom sayers need call “a collapse of the old ways”. The natural response of government and real power is to try and stall the progress, to give businesses time to adjust – have the economic structure invent itself to retain a high motivational factor in order to keep the wheels turning, even if there is not much hope. Then war will step in, or famine, or natural disasters, or TV, or plain threats of loss of more jobs, or food (food is not quite an issue yet in the western world), something will come about, which will be aided, orchestered in the desired direction by the Powers that be, towards a retention of stability – by shifting the world’s attention to easy, understandable, physical occurances, and away from abstract change in the freedom of expressing needs and opinions.

Yes, yes, yes, you are right. Lack of cohesion IS setting in. And the fault is in communication – in your blatant disregard for what communicative desire IS:

We all create with our minds. Creation in a human being is a communication process adjusting inner needs and talents to outer needs and limitations. Creation means acknowledging both needs and change. Creating more ways to hang on to power and earn more money IS creation in the sense of the word, you could say. All creatures resist death, in any way possible, by shedding all factors of existence that present themselves as burdens.

Same with big business. Big, old mono-businesses have no momentum to be inventive players like all small businesses rushing to accommodate change, and begin the process of dieing, which to some is a horrible thing, while to others just the balance ever so slowly shifting towards an inner collapse. And in that process  the old ones stand in the way of the creativity and devolopment of the rest.

Such refusal to roll over and die is very well, and even encouraging too. But when dinosaurs of the book industry refuse to change, refuse to invent technology and go first, refuse to accept other people doing it for them, and when they can have the power to turn the global network into a pet from their own fear, lazyness and lack of flexibility in a changing world, and when they present their refusal to neither die nor change by claiming moral superiority over the rest of the world, as in “our commitment to protecting secure, safe, and legitimate use of the Internet”, its time to

STOP THIS NONSENSE

There are many ways to affect change. People could be guided, but nobody powerful wishes to guide them. People could be consoled, but nobody powerful possess neither sufficient heart nor responsibility or means of consolation. The empowerment is coming from below instead. Call it “a revolution”, if you will, but just remember: A revolution is not always a succes. A revolution, a turning of the cards, can lose by succeding. It can die in the instant the troops (i.e. people) start poring in. And become mainstream, and nobody sees or notices it. And all the industries will rush to exploit its present potential of momentum.

The right word in this regard is evolution. And that just happens, no matter what. It counts the factors of every action, every opinion, every occurrence, every shift in the equilibrium. But what is inside this is freedom to shape the future from your own needs and regard for necessities, quality and essence. Except you are bound by law.

The book industry, along with all the other copyright moguls, have the law on their side. The law of ownership keeping the world economy and industry stable. They CAN win over the whole globe on the pretext of protecting stability.

IF that happens, they themselves will wish that they had been able to pull out of their abject refusal to step down and let flexible initiative take over. The consequences of the refusal to die of all the old World right-owership coalitions are that monitoring and privacy violations will see a marked increase in stress related deaths. Lowered life expectancy in the western world, Australia, Japan, South Korea, the arab world. A brief new flood of physical mail as a way of retaining privacy. Then illegal subnets. Then back to status quo. There is NO way of stifling communication and creation that has tasted the freedom of access to a bigger world.  Only misery will follow from trying to stop individuals’ need for expansion into the minds of everyone else.

Ahead lies only total monitoring, or letting go. Demand for security converging with rising desire of privacy. We are seeing the tip of the iceberg, and flocks of anti-restriction memes will soon inhabit the space of “Free Will”, if nothing is done about this habit of trying to control the masses.

We are the masses. The Earth. The 99%.

Un-controling the masses has never been done, I think. Letting go of the leash, after the fact of control. Not in any age. So, history serves as no indicator of un-controlled masses, other in a very limited fashion – in times of war and civil disturbances.

The future in that regard is a blank slate, and the economy and thus personal empowement springing from capitalism demand it stay relatively blank for the masses. And the only way to that goal is through control. Control on a global scale makes the future predictable, for the select few to benefit from, and everyone else to fall in line behind. On a moral high ground to protect the world from itself…

Is this better than the freedom to fail?
