\nand then I realised the world
\nis never safe if you think it is
\nthis is where this art thing

\nyou<\/em> have to make it safe
\nnobody cares how you do it
\nyou just have to make it safe
\nand it seems
\nart is a bit like a lottery
\nthere is a prize
\nand you go for the prize
\nand if you win
\npeople listen to you
\nand you make the world
\na little bit safer
\nbecause they trust you
\nnot because of what you say
\nbut because they trust you
\nyou won this prize you see?
\nits an okay system
\nexcept when
\nthe prize is not really a prize
\nbut a wall
\nto prevent you
\nfrom seeing the real prize
\nyou and everyone else
\nwhich wont be about money
\nbut something else
\nsomething everyone needs to see
\nbut somebody wont let you
\nso you have to climb the wall
\nwhile pretending
\nto streeeeetch on tiptoes
\nto reach the prize
\nand quite possibly
\nyou cannot win the prize
\nwhen you have told
\nwhat is on the other side of the wall
\nat least not for a while
\nas everyone gets used to
\nwhat is on the other side
\nand then
\nfor a while you can relax
\nif you want
\nand stay on the ground
\nand just pick at the prize
\nlike your neighbour’s apples
\nhanging over the fence
\nand its okay
\nfor a while
\nand then they become boring
\nand all the same
\nthis is where art begins
\nI now realise
\nyou don’t actually have to
\neat all the apples
\nif you don’t like apples
